Celebrating the Power of Womanhood and Community

International Women’s Day event

There’s something incredibly powerful about being a woman. We are creators, nurturers, and connectors. Our bodies, minds, and hearts experience the world with a depth that often goes unspoken. For me, one of the most beautiful aspects of womanhood is the sense of community we can create when we come together. I recently had the honor of hosting an International Women's Day event at the Museum of Pop Culture (MOPOP) here in Seattle, and the energy in that room was unlike anything I've ever felt.

Imagine a space full of women with open minds and hearts, ready to listen, uplift, and learn from each other. Whether it was sharing business tips, swapping fashion advice, or discussing skincare routines, there was a collective sense of empowerment that was nothing short of magical. It’s moments like these that remind me how essential it is to have a supportive community—a safe space where we can share our journeys, our wisdom, and even our struggles.

This idea of bringing women together has been in my heart since my days in New York. I've moved around a lot in life and, for a long time, spent more time alone than with others. My path led me to do a lot of healing on my own, which, while empowering, made me realize that no one should ever feel like they’re navigating life entirely by themselves. There’s so much we can gain from the smallest interaction with another person—whether it’s skincare advice, relationship support, business insight, or even just a reminder that we’re not crazy for feeling what we feel. As women, our bodies go through so much—hormonal changes, emotions, physical shifts—and it's important to acknowledge that we carry a lot, yet continue to rise every day.

I don’t have children of my own, but many of my closest friends do. From what they share with me, motherhood can sometimes feel isolating. The term “mom” becomes so intertwined with their identity that it’s easy to lose a sense of self. That’s why creating spaces for women to connect, share, and simply be heard is so important. Community is everything—it impacts our overall health, our personal growth, and even our ability to reach our goals.

There’s a saying that “you are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.” This rings especially true when it comes to surrounding ourselves with people who support, inspire, and encourage us to be our best selves. At T Bazi, we want to be more than just a skincare brand. We want to be a resource, a community, a space where you feel empowered to heal and reveal your truest self—not just to the world, but to yourself as well.

As someone with Persian heritage, I believe that sharing my culture is more than just introducing you to Persian tea, spices, or skincare traditions. It’s about offering a piece of myself, a genuine invitation for you to share yours in return. In this exchange, we grow, learn, and find strength in our differences and similarities. This cultural connection is another layer of the community we’re building—a community of openness, curiosity, and mutual respect.

So, here’s to us, the women who embrace our strength, our vulnerability, and our journey. Let’s continue to build each other up, celebrate our wins, and heal together. Because when we come together as a community, there’s nothing we can’t achieve.

With love and light,
